On tap at Seven Lakes Station. In contrast to sweet white ale conventionality, blood orange-pureed coriander adjunct leaves dry resonance upheld by maize-dried raw wheat astringency and lemondrop tartness. Delicate plantain, peach and quince quips stay recessive for offbeat Belgian-styled witbier.
BARRIER HOPAVELI 2X DRY-HOPPED IPA
Creamily soft-toned moderation with frothy white head sitting atop hazy amber yellow body. Raspy yellow grapefruit tang takes hold above white breaded pale malt spine and salty bottom in clean water setting. Subsidiary orange-peeled pineapple, peach and mango sweetness contrasts wispy gooseberry-passionfruit-guava souring.

On tap at Seven Lakes Station, soft-tongued grapefruit glisten brightens grassy hop stead over bready pale malting. Lightly embittered lemon-seeded grapefruit rind and pith frontage gains limey papaya, pineapple and melon rind wisps as well as gentle herbal wave for delicately complex collaboration.

On tap at Centre Street Public House, straightforward amber yellow-hazed IPA retains polite grapefruit zesting, mild mandarin orange tang and tart lemon custard licks alongside herbal-tinged wood tones above gentle pale malt-spiced base.

On tap at Poor Henry’s, soft nitro-like plushness of oaken vanilla tannins sidle lightly creamed lemon meringue tartness, musky orange oils and dank hop resin. Tertiary apricot, tangerine and Chardonnay illusions waver. Atypical as far as IPA’s go, but quite approachable for more adventurous pale ale buds.

Tertiary mandarin orange, peach and strawberry illusions flutter. Somewhat unique IPA advertised as pizza accompaniment.
BARRIER AZORES
On tap at Growler & Gill, worthy dry-hopped Bohemian pilsner greets floral citric-spiced Nugget/Glacier hop liveliness with peppery herbal respite and musky grain astringency. Spritzy orange briskness contrasts lemon-rotted vegetalia.
BARRIER / ASLIN NO RULES, ONLY RECOMMENDATIONS LIME & COCONUT INDIA PALE ALE
On tap at Ambulance, dryly tropical lime and coconut-soaked collaboration with Virginia’s Aslin Beer Co. Salt-licked limey souring puckers mild coconut milking, leaving lactic imprint upon laidback grapefruit, curacao orange and tangelo snips. Somewhat unconvincing IPA hybrid needs to push the coconut forward.
