(LEFEBVRE) ABBAYE DE FLOREFFE BLOND BELGIAN ALE
Founded in 1121, Lefebvre’s Belgian brewery is quite possibly the oldest in the world. Puffy head and cloudy amber complexion greet this moderate-bodied ale. Though thick foamy carbonation takes away from sweet apple-peach subtleties, its stimulating malted cereal grain finish reinforces barley-wheat graining.

LEFFE BLONDE ALE
Flowery aromatic hops, dry honey-malted wheat, and gentle clove spicing give butterscotch-fronted, ginger ale-textured blonde (from a 13th century recipe) its gentle white wine appeal. Wavering orange-bruised tangerine tang and silken banana-breaded vanilla whim stung by phenol coarsening. Well carbonated and lightly fruited but nothing extraordinary.

LOTERBOL BLONDE ALE
Rangy 8% alcohol strength, acidic medicinal whir, and candied butterscotch twist aid initial citric-herbal pungency of glowingly turbid re-fermented summery blonde. Settling hop-spiced bitterness allows peach-grapefruit-lemon-apricot tang to inform white-peppered rosebud-coriander-allspice illusions.
