“Iconic” 1985-styled Americanized IPA layers lemony grapefruit, pineapple and orange tang above bready cereal-grained malting and freshly cut-grass hop astringency. Modest herbal snip, light pine resin wisp and aspirin-like chalking scrape the metallic edges. Stylishly thin and insubstantial.

EVIL TWIN CHARLIE WORK IPA
On tap at Poor Henry’s, persistently pleasant yellow grapefruit juicing gains honeyed orange peel tang and herbal grassy hop astringency. Light lemon-candied tartness brightens grapefruit rind, peel and seed bittering above syrupy crystal malting at summery finish.
EVIL TWIN MISSION GOSE
Stylish salted coriander template given minty-fresh eucalyptus adjunct and mildly acidic lemon pucker. Oncoming shandy-like lemonade tartness and dry lime spree beget light citric-soured scurry. Gose lovers unite!
EVIL TWIN LIQUID DOUBLE FUDGE IMPERIAL STOUT
Creamily fudged black chocolate richness overridden by molasses-smoked anise goo (that sticks to the tongue). Syrupy chocolate chewiness picks up ancillary coffee, vanilla and coca illusions. So thick you could almost cut it with a knife, though its fudgy aspect seems a tad understated when compared to ample anise assertion.
EVIL TWIN I LOVE YOU WITH MY STOUT
A fine twist on Evil Twin’s sweeter, more distinct, Even More Jesus, takes a turn to the sour side as raw molasses bittering and dry cocoa powdering upend black chocolate syruping to soily earthen bottom and its ashen hop char lingers on the tongue. Distant anise-spiced black cherry, raisin and plum undertones never reach the mocha surface.
EVIL TWIN EVEN MORE JESUS IMPERIAL STOUT
Luxuriously frothed jet black full body (in a can) boasts rich fudged chocolate creaminess, molasses-smoked muscovado sugaring and wood-burnt dark roast hop char. Gooey anise tongue-coating adds syrupy viscous sludge to chocolate rum cake, black coffee, dried cocoa, espresso, vanilla, hazelnut, and black cherry rampage. Affluent bourbon sweetness deepens massive mocha malting of chewy 12% ABV stout.
EVIL TWIN AUN MAS A JESUS IMPERIAL STOUT
Decadent spinoff of Evil Twin’s highly prized Even More Jesus is, perhaps, richer, creamier and chewier than original. Fudgy dark chocolate resonance thickens alongside heightened sticky anise spicing and cedar-burnt hop char. Molasses-sapped mocha sweetness inundated by ancillary French roast coffee, vanilla, marshmallow, toasted coconut, hazelnut and caramel latte illusions as well as sedate blackberry, blueberry and black cherry wisps. A mucky slow sippin’ dark ale as viscous as black oil and well worth investigation.
EVIL TWIN BIKINI IPA
“Seductive” light-bodied India Pale Ale proves it’s possible to design a tasteful low alcohol (2.7% ABV) summertime refreshment without becoming sissies. Lightly pined grapefruit, lemon and orange rind bittering settles above sharp hop astringency as ancillary pineapple, tangerine, peach and mango tang picks up floral accents.
EVIL TWIN WET DREAM BROWN ALE
“Lusty” medium-bodied brown ale places rich gourmet coffee roast above lengthy walnut char to contrast caramel-sugared brown chocolate sweetness. Ancillary espresso, vanilla, cocoa nibs and toffee illusions augment dark-roast mocha malting. Luxurious coffee adjunct truly jettisons this enduring digestif.
EVIL TWIN IMPERIAL BISCOTTI BREAK NATALE – PRETTY PLEASE WITH A CHERRY ON TOP
On tap at Ambulance, cherry-dried version of Imperial Biscotti lacks originals’ distinction as dark-roasted black chocolate and cacao nibs bittering overrun any coffee-dipped almond biscotti niceties or oaken vanilla nuances. Blood-like saline acridity grafts desiccated cherry-soured Baker’s chocolate finish.
