Mildly piney Centennial/ Mandarina Bavaria hop blend promotes perfumed citrus oiling above dry pale malting.

On tap at Taphouse 15, crisp straw-cleared pre-Prohibition styled cream ale places maize-dried corn flaking next to lightly herbal spiced hops and sunny lemon flicker for easygoing moderation.

On tap at Taphouse Grille – Wayne, faded sweet-tart cherry influence dulled out over pallid white wheat base. Balaton cherry stead picks up lemon-puckered green grape tannins for dry fruited finish.

On tap at Plank Pizza, classic coppery marzen retains soft nitro-like flow as biscuit-honeyed melanoidin malts and sweet peat mossing pick up mild cellared fungi. More modestly offbeat than classic.

On tap at Taphouse Grille – Wayne, dry English porter retains coffee-stained dark chocolate roast infiltrated by wood-seared hop char, raw molasses bittering, mild walnut tannins and sour soy milking. At the finish, caramel-burnt mocha malting adds some contrastive sweetness.
GHOST HAWK STICK & MOVE ROGGENBIER
On tap at Plank Pizza, underwhelming German roggenbier (with unfulfilled rauchbier influence) does avoid soapiness of many Americanized models, but its toned down beechwood-smoked rye malting lacks serious meat-cured salami endurance despite the perky black peppered citrus insistence.
GHOST HAWK PUTIN HUYLO
Soft-toned Ukrainian strong ale calls out Putin and begs comparisons to a fruity IPA with a clean vodka kick. Uniform grapefruit, orange, peach and mango tanginess gains mild Perle hop earthiness to complement citrus-spiced Saphir hop splendor over delicate caramelized pilsner malting.

On tap at Kitchen & Beer Bar, complex atypical farmhouse ale loads black-peppered herbal perfuming to lemony saffron minting and earthen floral musk. Basil, sage, catnip, spearmint and sassafras illusions waver for slightly enigmatic off-centered moderation. On tap at Plank Pizza ’24, foraged local ingredients increased light herbal fungi musk, dark floral perfuming and mild peppercorn spell as lemon balm, champagne grape and black tea illusions join the sage-catnipped sassafras minting.

Soft-toned sour lemon spritz receives tangy yellow grapefruit reminder and hasty herbal tinge above dry pale malted straw wheat base. A fizzier, lighter-bodied, less filling IPA.
