KELSO FUKU

Bland rauchbier-smoked, witbier-fruited, gose-salted hybrid stays softly light-bodied. Soapy curacao-mandarin orange wisp, tart lemon snip and sour lime pucker hide behind fragile peat-smoked black peppering, finishing inconspicuously dull, flat and buttery.

BARRIER GOSILLA

On tap at Ambulance Brew House, refreshingly dry coriander-salted gose stays soft as tart lemon-limed souring seeps inside delicate limestone acridity to its light saltine-crackered white bread spine. Zesty lemon finish allows oceanic sea salting to sharpen its citric hop-spiced frisk.

OFF COLOR TROUBLESOME

Simple straw-cleared light body (contentiously listed as a wheat ale) slips into German gose styling with its salted coriander tartness, lactobacillus-soured wild yeast and Seltzer-like carbolic fizz. Ancillary lemon-dropped cider souring reinforces mild coriander salting above fragile flaked oat-wheat bottom.

FLYING DOG GOSE

On tap at Shepherd & Knucklehead, German-spawned moderation (from an ancient recipe) stays sourer than lacto-fermented Berliner Wiess styling. Acetous lemon-limed mandarin orange tingle, tannic white-wined respite and leathery limestone acridity coat salt-watered minerality. Teasing coriander spicing, slight celantro quip and advertised herbal-spiced Old Bay seasoning found at deep recess.
