KCBC EXTREMELY DANGEROUS PRECEDENT DOUBLE IPA

On tap at George Keeley’s, wondrous amped-up version of brewers’ ambitious Dangerous Precedent glistens with juicy lemon zest, bitter orange-peeled grapefruit resilience and tangy mango-peach-pineapple conflux. Brilliantly detailed Mosaic-Citra-Centennial-Azacca hops reinforce sunny tropical fruiting, creamy sugar-spiced pale malting and light floral sweetness.

LAGUNITAS THE WALDOS’ SPECIAL ALE (2017)

On tap at Taphouse 15, bold 10% ABV Imperial IPA nearly maintains ‘dankest, hoppiest’ boast with its assertive alcohol-burnt hop oiling and resinous pine bittering. But its soft-toned honeyed fruiting, botanical herbage and floral sweetness lighten the mood just enough as tangy mango, tangerine, orange, nectarine, pineapple and grapefruit juicing soothes the clean finish.
