Ambitious amber-clouded tan-headed pale ale softens blackened grain-roasted assertion, dry piney hop redolence, and nutty undertones with lively perfumed citrus persistence. Subsidiary orange-peeled berry-cherry conflux adds further luster. Oats-charred malt-lacquered thickness reinforces fruity essence.

Inviting hop spicing provides meager character to non-specific dry ale, as unassuming grain sweetness nips minimal finish. Brewery defunct: 2006.

Bland alcohol-burnt, bottle-conditioned, yellow-ambered English pale ale offers pleasant caramelized butterscotch malting to contrast zesty citric bittering and floral-herbal hints to salty bottom. But interceptive astringency and bland finish diminish charred hop lick.
