Drab aluminum-yellowed pale lager lets cloy rice-sugared sourdough buttering, thin mineral-grained spice hop zip and ginger-leafed maize husk get lost amongst musty corn-oiled backdrop. Musky dry-smoked beechwood soaping, bland cotton-candied nuance and pale-malted cardboard plainness depleted by ruinous chemical solvency and briny lemon-salted bittering of horrid Latino, further complicating matters.

Puffy beige-headed wood chip-burnt blonde lager proffers buttery caramel creaminess. Leafy hop bitterness, subtle malt vacillation, and sweet yeast amble provide even-handed complement not far removed from honey-soaked India Pale Ales.

Sweet whiskey malt-wafted Greek pale body secures moldy orange souring and alcoholic cognac tinge for dry wheat-backed flack. Vanilla creaminess and light spicing lost amongst mild acidity.

Way too cloy and harsh with rugged corn sugar flow not unlike stank-y American malt liquors. Fizzy caramel-hop tease and heady 8% alcohol strength are only saving grace.

Tepid amber-clouded mocha-scented lager with unassuming hop fizz fades gently to mild pale malt finish.

Simple, easygoing straw-cleared lager maintains stalwart gluten wheat stickiness, fresh-cut barley earthiness, and bread-y yeast continuation. Corn syrupy finish picks up dry rye enhancement.

Pale-toned medium body with charred wood palate enhancing remarkably expansive honeyed Scotch likeness. Extremely dry rye backbone and lessened lime-hopped briskness further assure bitter alcohol-stricken finish. Single malt whiskey snobs may sing its praises but less adventurous lagerheads will be put off.

Formerly nicknamed “Natty” when Baltimore-brewed, this cheaply sour-doughed, phenol-hopped, cumulous-headed pale lager slips into fizzy insignificance, maligning paper thin fresh-cut grass nose, sweet grain minerality and piquant peach-tangerine conflux.

Swampy sour astringency overwhelms dreaded corn-y malt liquor-like acridity, devouring sugared oats of weary hop-fizzed moderation.

Okay pale-toned earthen-grained sour milk-wafted sedation gains peculiar ginger ale dryness ahead of prominent sourdough funk, but as musty yeast heft subsides, little else shines through at watery sugar-sweetened finish. Couldn’t find label so used brewers’ Frog ‘N Hound Cream Ale as reference. Brewery defunct: 2003.

Tedious fizz-watered travesty with undetectable guarana (a natural caffeine source). Clear-toned pearly headed dread picks up minor phenol bittering from slenderest maize jot and barnyard earthiness. Where’s the damn Kick?
