WILD BEER SHNOODLEPIP

On tap at Ambulance, pleasantly peculiar sour saison from England gets soaked in French oak red wine barrels with rosy hibiscus flowering, pink peppercorn pep, tart tropical fruiting and mild spelt grains. Light brettanomyces yeast brings out the vinous red grape tannins. Leathery barnyard acridity increases oaken cherry-dried passionfruit, papaya, guava and gooseberry illusions at back end.

GRASSROOTS / ANCHORAGE / HILL FARMSTEAD ARCTIC SAISON

On tap at Ambulance, Vermont’s Grassroots Brewing collaborated with local Hill Farmstead brethren and Alaskan brewmasters to concoct hybridized brettanomyces-laden farmhouse ale. Rustic herbal overtones and musky barnyard leathering divert lemony orange-peeled grapefruit, pineapple and peach tang. Cilantro-peppered basil and rosemary illusions convincingly deepen citrus tea finish.

OEC VILLA DOMUS

On tap at Ambulance, dryly sour saison (aged in neutral oak barrels) utilizes black-peppered grains of paradise spicing to scour barnyard-desiccated spelt and oats graining as mild brettanomyces funk provides sufficient acidity. Carbolic lemon spritz, green apple tartness, green grape esters and wispy passionfruit snips lightly affect piquant grains of paradise juicing.
