Easygoing lighter, brighter ’23 version retains lemon lime zesting of yore and white-peppered grains of paradise spritz of not long ago. Softly fizzed lemon-candied brining perfect complement for seafaring events.
On tap at Taphouse Grille – Wayne, superb nitro version of highly respected summer ale heightens softly creamed éclair mouthfeel and kettle corn-buttered caramelization while lessening tropical fruiting. Mild lemon meringue, mandarin orange, white peach and fig illusions delicately linger behind.
Adequate blonde ale never fully integrates advertised ginger spicing with herbaceous white-peppered grapefruit bittering and floral hibiscus-lotus-lilac bouquet. Sessionable summertime fodder.

On tap at Three Wise Monks, drab yellow-fruited souring picks up soft herbaceous whim over mild grassy-hopped wheat straw acridity and earthen fungi mold. Zesty lemon spritz and musty lemongrass spell lightly soured by raw-honeyed orange rot.
On tap at Track 84, dry pale wheat ale gets hybridized with West Coast pale ale styling for moderate summertime refresher. Musty raw-honeyed graining and resinous Amarillo hop bittering saddle lemony grapefruit-peeled orange rind, pineapple and peach illusions. Leathery hay-barnyard-alfalfa acridity and herbal peppercorn-lemongrass snip add depth to approachable fare. In bottle, happily predictable fare gains perky lemon zest spritz and mild white peppering above rye-breaded nicety.
Similar to brewers’ earthen-grained Blonde Ale (only its herbal hop influence brings richer, dryer temperament). Strangely, for a summer ale, spritzy citric pep is just an afterthought. Instead, rye-breaded pale malts fill the gap a tad.
